Classic future, future classic lifestyle.
I’ve been a resident of Boulder, CO for 12 days, and am now fully feeling the soothing and inspiring effects of this hybrid mountain town. Most of my days begin in this setting, with some herb and meal such as

Almond milk, apple, carrot, kale, wheat grass, and whey protein shake with whole wheat toast. Sometimes homemade granola with Greek yogurt and banana. Always satisfying and energizing. My health and happiness, which are so intertwined, have been most important to me the past year or so. I let diet and excercise standars slide a bit on my way to Boulder, but no big deal. I’m certainly in good spirits getting back onto that tip.
Sequentially, I am taking full potential of the free yoga clases at Prana, the yoga/climbing/outdoor lifestyle store where my roommate Mike works. I still consider myself a beginning practioner, and this venue has provided a great introduction to hatha, qigong, vinyasa and kundalini (My personal favorite. The mix of core exertion and meditation…)
Between that and the YMCA’s month by month student membership, this rider is keeping himself in shape. And while I believe in FULL health, peep my consistent meditative practice, good for mind and soul:

Riding, baby!
Muchas gracias to the talent behind that shot:

For she also captured these moments:

I tell ya, it was such a thrillingly compassionate act to share the beauty of this state with someone I truly care about.
Certainly didn’t want to return that great little package, but I’m thankful for the love brought from back home. And Philly, I sent a lot back atcha!
So, on a closing note, I might be leaving Boulder slightly sooner than anticipated. The old girl shivers harder every morning, and i cant stop thinking about the mental hypothermia encountered when we entered Illinois the other week. Which is nowhere near the Rockies. The Rocky Mountains. Pictured.
Gaurdian Angel don’t fail me now.
Peace on earth and goodwill towards men.
