My first hot shower in over a month. It was not enjoyable as I had hoped it to be. In fact, I switched to cold water at the end, which left me feeling refreshed and alive as I have every day here. The things we hold to such importance in the modern world can become worthless in a developing area. I think I prefer to be apart of the development. I certainly appreciate small gains more when they are not predetermined.
On a related note, I have begun to read an examination and translations of the Upanishads. Surely my perspectives will bend further in their current direction: to value the truth of life and worth of self.

I love Harrisburg, and I will rep that city forever, but when asked “where ya from?” my answer is Philly. I love that city. I love the people there. I might even learn to love the weather this season. ”Why you goin back there? Gonna be cold.” It’s okay man, I got a girl to keep me warm…
I wanted this blog to be a vehicle for documenting my travels. While I was able to showcase certain highlights, there is SO much more to be told. I pledge to use this hibernating season to recap the trip, thoroughly as possible. So while this first (of more than likely MANY) motorcycle adventure officially ended on Monday with an 800 mile ride from Atlanta back home, the tales are really just beginning.
So to all reading this, I love you. Thank you for the good vibes and well wishes that brought me home safe. I may not be around long, but the spirit will travel anywhere you need it to.
And to think that not even two weeks ago, I was watching the sun set in San Diego.

Through love, humility, peace and thankfulness, always truly,
